Gap Casting Call Portrait Rejects

 Not rejected for being bad pictures...rejected by myself after reading Gap's entry rules.  Apparently the child has to be wearing blue jeans.  Whatever.  So, I have another outfit and we will try again this week.

 I took these at Kirk of the Hills Presb. Church.  Since I work there part time I thought it would be fun and I probably wouldn't get in trouble.  The next shoot will be at the park, though this church has a few really amazing photo spots.

 These steps are one of the neat spots!

The Other Half

 I purchased a new lens just after the session with these twins, so I wanted to go back and take a few more shots with the new "fast" lens.  What I was looking for was for the photo to have more depth of field.  As can be seen above it does it's job.

 The color.  I edit in raw and then move to photoshop if need be.  The colors really pop when you move around some of the settings on a raw image.

 The other thing I wanted to go back and take some photos for was a few smiles.  Their Daddy was home this time, so we managed a few grins.   Daddies just have that affect on their children!

 Grin.  He started walking the very next day.  he looked ready!

Another grin!  Yay!  Mission Accomplished!

More Portraits

My friends daughter.  We were having a little playdate and she dressed her up so I could practice taking pictures of her.  Such a sweetie!

I caught these shots last February.  A little girl just loved my son and she started dancing with him.  Too cute!

A lot of these are of my son.  I loved this one because at the time getting him to smile was near impossible.  I loved this sweater, too.  I wish I had an enlarging machine for some of his clothes.

His eyes are amazing.

This little doll belongs to a good friend of mine.  She is too sweet and spunky, just like her Momma.

One of my favorite shots ever.  It hangs in our beach themed bathroom.  He wouldn't let me take his shoes off on the beach.  He hated the sand on his feet, but if he had shoes on it was all good.
